Staff Report: In celebration of the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, a recitation program dedicated to the Father of the Nation was held in Sunamganj district town of Jal Jochna in collaboration with Bangladesh Working Recitation Coordinating Council.

The event was held at 4:30 pm on Saturday, March 20 at the district’s municipal open stage.
President of Bangladesh Recitation Coordinating Council Mokaddes Babul presided over the function and Executive Member Syed Saimum Anjum Ivan addressed the function as the guest of honor. Sunamganj District Primary Education Officer SM Abdur Rahman Khalil Rahman.

Ahmed Manjurul Haque Chowdhury, District Cultural Officer, Sunamganj delivered the welcome address.
Prominent reciters Runa Shaheen Ara Lace, SM Abdur Rahman, Sheikh Rabiul Islam, Trina Chowdhury, Afroza Akter Rumpa, Debashish Talukder, Mehedi Hasan, Nandini Karmakar Prachi and Syed Hossain performed solo recitations.

Urvashi Abritti Parishad Sylhet and Mrittikay Mahakal performed group recitation on the occasion.
