The price of gold has come down to 2041 rupees

News Desk: The price of gold has come down again. The Bangladesh Jewelers’ Association (BAJUS) has fixed the new price of gold at Tk 2,041 per fill from Wednesday (March 10).

Bajus president Enamul Haque Khan and general secretary Dilip Kumar Agarwala signed a statement on Tuesday (March 9th). As a result of the new price reduction, the price of gold has come down to Tk 3,557 in two weeks.

According to the new price, from March 10, the price of good quality 22 carat gold (11.64 grams) will be 69,110 rupees. 21 carat gold has been fixed at Tk 85,980, 18 carat gold at Tk 56,211 and heavy gold at Tk 46,690 per traditional method.

Meanwhile, even if the price of gold falls, the price of silver will be sold at the previous price. The price of 22 carat heavy silver has been fixed at Tk 1,517. The price of 21 carat silver has been fixed at Tk 1,435, 18 carat silver at Tk 1,225 and traditional method silver at Tk 933.

On Tuesday, the price of 22 carat gold was 71 thousand 151 rupees. The price of 21 carat gold was Tk 6,001, 18 carat gold was Tk 59,252 and the price of gold per traditional method was Tk 48,931.
