News Desk: Former US President Donald Trump will not be able to use Facebook and Instagram accounts until 2023. So far, Facebook authorities have suspended his account through these two channels.

Facebook banned him indefinitely in January for making provocative posts on the Capitol Hill riots in the United States. The agency’s oversight board upheld the ban but criticized the “forever ban”.

They said that punishment should be provided which is applicable to the general public as well.

The Oversight Board gave Facebook authorities six months to determine a reasonable penalty, but within a month, Facebook announced their decision.

According to Facebook, Donald Trump’s behavior was a gross violation of the company’s rules.

But Donald Trump claims that Facebook’s move is an insult to the billions of people who voted for him in last year’s presidential election.

At the same time, it has moved away from the policy that politicians get by choosing to check comments on this huge social media organization.

Nick Clegg, Facebook’s vice president for global affairs, said in a post that the ban on Facebook and Instagram on Donald Trump would take effect on January 7, the day his account was suspended.

He said, “Considering the importance of the events that led to the suspension of Donald Trump’s account, we think he has committed a serious breach of our rules, which deserves the maximum punishment.”

Clegg added, “If we find that there are still serious public safety risks, we will extend the ban for a longer period of time and continue to review until the risk is reduced.”

In a statement issued by the Save America Political Action Committee following the ban on Facebook, Donald Trump said, “This order from Facebook is an insult to the 7 and a half crore people in our country, including those who voted for us.”

He said, “It would not be right to allow them to get through by censoring and silencing them.” In the end we will win. Our country will not tolerate any more oppression. ‘

In another statement, Donald Trump attacked the founder of Facebook. He said, “Then again, when I’m at the White House, there will be no more dinner at the request of Mark Zuckerberg and his wife.”

Donald Trump has been banned from Twitter, YouTube, Snapchat, Twitch and a few other social media outlets for allegedly inciting riots in January.
