News Desk: Most of the garment workers could not go out of the capital due to the government’s ban. They could not go to the village on Eid holidays. However, the concerned authorities do not have any statistics even though some of them went to their village homes.

BGMEA, a garment organization, and labor leaders in the sector said very few factories had opened in the days following Eid. However, they hope that the factory will be fully operational gradually within this week.

In this regard, BGMEA President Faruk Hasan said that few garments have been opened in the last three days. The work of the garment factory will be started gradually within this week.

Labor leader Sirajul Islam Rony said not many factories have been opened yet. He said most workers did not leave their workplaces on holiday.
