news desk: The state-owned company is hopeful of supplying seven to eight million cubic feet of gas and 100 barrels of condensate daily from this well.
Engineer Md Shahinur Rahman, managing director of Sylhet Gas Fields, said, “The testing of Beanibazar-1 well has started today. The presence of gas has been confirmed by testing … the test shows some 10 million cubic feet gas flow at 3,100 pH pressure.”
The well was declared abandoned in 2016 after extracting 35 billion cubic feet of gas from 3,450 meters of depth. Sylhet Gas Fields started the workover of the well on September 10.
