Bangladesh national cricketer Arafat Sunny has been got bail in a case filed for demanding dowry from his wife Nasrin Sultana.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Md Zakir Hossain Tipu passed the order on Monday, when the cricketer surrendered before it and sought bail.
Earlier on Sunday, the same court issued an arrest warrant against Sunny in the dowry case.
On January 23, Sunny’s wife Nasrin Sultana filed the case against left-arming cricketer and his mother Nargis Akter on charges of demanding Tk20 lakh as dowry and torturing her.
