“Ramadan products will be sold for three more days”: TCB

News Desk: Increased Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB) during ‘Service Week’. TCB has been conducting ‘Service Week’ since April 30 to ensure uninterrupted service to the public during Ramadan, including price control.

Last Thursday was the last day of this activity. However, TCB has extended the sale till May 9, considering the increasing demand of the customers even though it is the last day of sale.

This information was given in a statement from TCB today. According to TCB, May 6 is the last day for the sale of TCB’s Ramadan products, but the sales have been extended to May 9 due to increased demand from customers. At this point the product will be allocated at the same rate as before.

On the occasion of service week, 1,400 liters of soybean oil has been allocated to each vehicle of TCB. Besides, the number of trucks in the capital has been increased from 100 to 120.

The price of soybean oil is being kept at Rs 100 per liter in TCB’s truck cell and Rs 108 per liter online. In both cases a buyer can buy a maximum of five liters of soybean oil.

In addition, 800 to 1,200 kg of sugar per truck, 600 to 750 kg lentils, 300 to 1 thousand kg onions, 400 to 1 thousand kg chickpeas And 100 kg of dates have been allotted.
