Naogaon District Sports Association won bronze in the event. In the third place match at the same venue, Naogaon defeated Jamalpur District Sports Association 26-16 to win the bronze medal.

BOA Vice President Sheikh Bashir Ahmed Mamun handed over the medals to the winners at the end of the match. General Secretary of the Federation Asaduzzaman Kohinoor was present at the time.

In response to winning the gold, Ansar coach Nasirullah Lavlu said, “Ansar has always been good at women’s handball. We were sure we would get gold. Because there were some young players on my team who gave me this confidence. We don’t have two to three months of preparation before each event. But it was not possible this time because of Corona. Even then, we will say that we have come to play with better preparation than others. ‘
