Why that rule will not be followed in the Test Championship? – Ramiz Raja

News Desk: India-Pakistan fight in cricket means something special. In limited overs cricket, the two teams have met in various events at the International Cricket Council, but the two teams have yet to face each other in the World Test Championship. It is here that former cricketer and commentator Ramiz Raja has questioned the effectiveness of the ICC.

India-Pakistan have not played any bilateral series since 2013. However, it was a limited overs series on Indian soil.

The last time the two teams met in a Test series was in the 2007-8 season. Since then, the bilateral series between the two countries has been closed due to political reasons. Ramiz Raja has opened his mouth about this.

He said on his YouTube channel that even if it is not a bilateral series, there could be a fight between India and Pakistan in the ICC World Test Championship. In multiple ICC competitions, the two countries play on neutral ground. So why not follow that rule in the Test Championship?

He also said that he did not understand the difficulty in organizing the matches between the two countries. Moreover, not all teams are playing the same number of matches. Again the sharing of points is also quite strange. If all the countries play against each other but the demand for Test championship will increase.
