President of Barca released on bail

Sports  Desk: Former Barca president Bartomeu was released on bail on Tuesday night after being arrested in connection with the Barca Gate scandal. Bartomeu was arrested at his residence on Monday morning. He was accompanied by two directors, Oscar Grau, Roman Gomez Ponti and consultant Zumi Masferar. They also got bail with Bartomeu.

Bartomeu was in police custody the night before, mainly for the sake of the investigation. However, it is learned that he did not speak to the police. From the beginning, the Barca agate case was being investigated by the Catalan police force, the Moses de Esquadra. Because Barcelona was released from the scandal after a hasty search last July. But a few days later, the police gathered more information and found proof of the truth. The club has signed six contracts with six organizations for a total of three different jobs, they said. On Tuesday morning, however, the secrecy of the activities was briefly lifted. However, before presenting it to the judge, the case will be investigated twice more, according to Spanish media.

It is worth mentioning that in February last year, the Spanish media Cadenas brought this serious allegation against Bartomeu. Barcelona has launched a campaign against the current captain Lionel Messi, senior players and even former coach Pep Guardiola through social media in the interest of the president’s monopoly on the club.

Barcelona hired an organization called I Three to protect Bartomeu’s reputation and to tarnish the image of those who disagreed with him. The company has created dozens of accounts on Facebook and Twitter to spread slander against Messi and Guardiola. Gerard Pique and the team’s legendary former stars Xavi Hernandez and Carles Puyol were also attacked. Former President Juan Laporta was not left out either. The media calls this scandal – ‘Barsagate’.
