Visiting Zimbabwe won toss and selected to bat first against Bangladesh in the third of the four-match Walton Twenty20 International series between Bangladesh and Zimbabwe in Khulna on Wednesday.
The match started at 3.00 pm at Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium and is being telecast live on Gtv (Gazi Tv) and Star Sports 4.
Bangladesh have won the first two matches and thus lead the series by 2-0.
The hosts had made five changes in their playing XI as Mushfiqur Rahim missed the game for sustaining a hamstring injury in the previous match and ruled out for 2-3 weeks. Pacers Mustafizur Rahman and Al-Amin Hossain have been rested.
Bangladesh handed debuts to four players. They are Mossaddek Hossain, Muktar Ali, Mohammad Shahid and Abu Haider. Besides, Imrul Kayes was included in place of Tamim Iqbal.
Mushfiqur Rahim who is ruled out 2-3 weeks, sent well wishes to his team mates. “Best wishes to my team mates for the 3rd T20I. Go for it boys!” Mushfiqur Rahim tweeted on Wednesday morning.
