News Desk: A Dhaka court on Monday set November 1 for holding a hearing on accepting a charge sheet filed in a graft case against BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman’s wife Dr Zubaida Rahman.
Today was fixed for holding hearing on the matter, but the acting judge of Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge Court Syed Hafsa Jhuma reset the date as regular judge Md Asaduzzaman was on leave.
Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on September 26, 2007, filed the case against Tarique Rahman, his wife Zubaida Rahman and mother-in-law Iqbal-Mand Banu for amassing illegal wealth of Taka 4.81 crore and concealing information about the assets.
