News Desk: Ekushey Padak winning actor and dramatist Masum Aziz died in a hospital in capital Dhaka on Monday.
He breathed his last around 3 pm at Square Hospital, his brother-in-law Wakib Babu confirmed.
Sommilito Sangskritik Jote President Golam Quddus also confirmed the matter in a Facebook post.
The actor had suffered from various old age complications for a long.
While studying at Chittagong University, Masum Aziz made his acting debut in the theater. In 1985, he debuted in TV drama. He has played in more than four hundred dramas and notable films since 1985.
