Rezwanul Islam Ridu, 38, the former captain of Bagerhat district cricket team, has been killed in a road accident.
According to sources, a truck hit Rezwanul’s motorcycle from behind at Jagrapur Bazar near Kulia Dair on the Bagerhat-Rupsa old road in Bagerhat sadar upazila on Saturday morning. The truck fell into a ditch soon after crashing against the motorcycle.
