News Desk: The news of the US spying on the leaders of the European allies including the German Chancellor Angela Merkel was revealed again. Washington, along with an intelligence agency from the European country of Denmark, carried out the plot. Incumbent US President Joe Biden has been linked to the incident.

The news agency AFP and Qatar-based Al-Jazeera reported that the news of the US spying was published on Sunday by the Danish state broadcaster Denmark Radio.

The US National Security Agency (NSA), in collaboration with the Danish intelligence agency Defense Intelligence Service, is spying on top leaders of Sweden, Norway, France and Germany to intercept the country’s information cable. These spies were carried out from 2012 to 2014.

The Defense Intelligence Service conducted an internal investigation in 2014 and 2015 into allegations of espionage. That’s where this information came from. Nine unnamed sources told Denmark Radio that they had received the classified information.

The investigation further states that the NSA entered the flow of information exchanged in Denmark via Internet cable. They intercept messages, telephone calls, internet traffic including searching, chat, messaging services.

Denmark has a number of Internet cable stations for messaging with Sweden, Norway, Germany, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. And the Danish Defense Intelligence Service had access to that network. The United States eavesdropped on it through collusion with that organization. Along with Denmark, those countries in Europe are also close allies of the United States.

Snowden opened his mouth shortly after the intelligence report was aired on Danish radio. Snowden, who now lives in Russia, has accused US President Joe Biden of being closely involved in the incident.
