News Desk: Protests have been held in several other cities in the United Kingdom, including London, for Palestine and against Israel. Thousands of people gathered at the protest on Saturday (May 22nd). Most of them had the Palestinian national flag in their hands. The news was published by the news agency Reuters.

The report said the protests called on the international community to impose sanctions on Israel. Many had Palestinian flags in their hands. Again some were holding different placards. They read “Free Palestine”, “Stop bombing Gaza”, “Prohibit Israel” and so on.

Earlier, clashes between Israeli forces and Palestinians began on May 10. Which ended with a ceasefire last Thursday night. It has been in effect since Friday.

At least 248 people, including 66 children and 39 women, have been killed in the Gaza Strip alone in 11 days of violent clashes. In addition, about 2,000 Palestinians were injured.

Israeli authorities say a rocket fired by Hamas, a group controlling the Gaza Strip, has killed at least 13 people in Israel, including two children.
