According to sources, the seventh day of the general lockdown announced by the government to prevent the spread of coronavirus at 10:30 am, half an hour after the start of trading on Tuesday (April 20), the DSE General Index DSEX rose 10 points to 5,360 points. The DSE Shariah Index is down 1 point and the DSE-30 Index is up 3 points at 1215 and 2050 points respectively.

During this period, shares and mutual fund units worth Tk 204 crore 55 lakh were traded of the companies traded during the period, shares of 114 companies rose, 98 declined and 66 remained unchanged.

The top 10 companies in the transaction until 10:30 in the morning are Beximco Limited, Eastern Insurance, Asia Pacific Insurance, Lafarge Holcim, LankaBangla, Beximco Pharma, Agrani Insurance, BD Finance, Federal Insurance and Eastern General Insurance.

The DSE index increased by 9 points in the first 5 minutes of trading. Then at 10:10 the index decreases by 10 points from the previous position. Then the speed of the index can be seen downwards. At 10:15 am, the index was 5 points lower than the previous day at 5,325 points.

Meanwhile, half an hour after the start of trading at 10:30 am, the CASPI index of the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) rose 40 points to 15,511 points. Then the speed of the indicator can be seen upwards.

Shares and mutual fund units worth Tk 3 crore 93 lakh were traded on the CSE till 10:30 am. During this time, the prices of 42 companies have increased and the prices of 30 companies have decreased. The share prices of 9 companies remained unchanged.
