The holy month of Ramadan has started from today

News Desk: The holy month of Ramadan has started. Devout Muslims fasted for the first time on Wednesday (April 14th) after eating sehri. The first Tarabi has been performed in the mosque following the hygiene rules. Due to the Corona epidemic, 20 people were instructed to take part, but the real picture was different. However, those who took part in the prayers were trying to wear masks and maintain distance.

The news of the sighting of the moon of the holy month of Ramadan started coming from different parts of the country on Tuesday (April 13) evening. After the meeting of the National Moon Sighting Committee in the conference room of the Islamic Foundation, the Minister of State for Religion officially announced it at 7 pm.

The participation of the worshipers in the first Tarabi was limited in preventing the corona infection of the epidemic. However, even though a maximum of 20 people were supposed to participate in the congregation at a time, the instructions were not followed in various places. At the National Mosque Baitul Mukarram, devout worshipers also took part in the congregation in 4 rows. After the main gate was closed, many people took part in the entrance of the mosque. However, the worshipers were trying to follow the rules of hygiene, including the use of masks and maintaining physical distance.

During the month of fasting, the devotees pray to Allah Ta’ala to get rid of the epidemic.

Meanwhile, the state minister for religion said that even if the two main mosques in Saudi Arabia, the Masjid al-Haram and the Masjid al-Nawawi, were instructed to offer 10 rak’ats of Tarabi, it would not happen in the country.
