News Desk: The stock market has been falling continuously since the beginning of the transaction. Today, the first 15 minutes of the first working day of the week, the country’s main stock market Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), the main index DSEX fell 86 points. On the other stock market Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE), the overall index CASPI decreased by 876 points.
Today is the last day of the one-week ban on coronavirus infection. However, the government announced an all-out lockdown from April 14 after the ban was imposed last Friday. And as a result, the stock market has collapsed today.
At 10:15 am on the DSE, the transaction was 63 crore. Among the exchanged shares and mutual funds, 183 declined, only 25 rose and 27 remained unchanged.
At the end of the last trading day, the DSEX index fell 82 points to 5254 points. The transaction on that day was 475 crore 87 lakh taka.
On the other hand, among the shares and mutual funds exchanged on the CSE in 15 minutes, the price of 38 has decreased, the price of only 4 has increased and the price of 5 has remained unchanged.
