Former national team captain Mashrafe bin Mortaza will play for Gemcon Khulna in the Bangabandhu T20 Cup sponsored by Walton.
Khulna finally secured Mashrafe by lottery among four teams.
The lottery was held at the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) office on Sunday (December 6) afternoon.
Apart from Khulna, Beximco Dhaka, Minister Group Rajshahi and Fortune Barishal were hoping to get him.
