Ruet teachers started to boycott classes, a day into withdrawal of a strike by students, by demanding punishment of those who confined them during a students’ protest.
Teachers are not taking any class and examination since 10:00am this morning.
Sources said that this decision was made following an emergency meeting yesterday. Ruet authorities yesterday cancelled the “33 Credit System” in the face of student protest but declared an indefinite strike demanding punishment for the students who confined them for around 20 hours.
