President Donald Trump has long been a Twitter enthusiast, and some have wondered if he would rein in his tweeting after the election.
But that hasn’t been the case: Recently, Trump criticized the Democrats for opposing his ban on refugees and immigrants from seven Muslim-majority countries, calling Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, “Fake Tears Chuck Schumer.”
The president also claimed that there were “few problems” with the ban, despite reports of confusion over interpretation and implementation. He blamed the confusion at airports on protesters, Schumer’s tears and Delta Airlines.
And before that, Trump encouraged the president of Mexico to cancel a meeting in Washington, D.C., if he is unwilling to pay for a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border.
