Eid-ul-Azha, the second largest festival of Muslims, will be celebrated on 13 September as the moon of the holy month of Zilhajj was sighted nowhere in Bangladesh on Friday.
The national moon sighting committee took the decision at a meeting at Islamic Foundation office at the Baitul Mukarram national mosque complex Friday evening.
The Islamic Foundation assistant director, Nizamuddin, told this to Prothom Alo.
