The police detained the landlord of the Narayanganj’s Paikpara building, where “three militants” were killed in the shooting of law enforcers during a drive Saturday.
His wife and three sons were also detained.
The landlord Noor Uddin Dewan, his wife and three sons were taken to Narayanganj sadar model police station around 5:00pm on Saturday afternoon, said police.
Narayanganj additional police super Faruk Hossain told reporters that the landlord Noor Uddin and his family members have been taken to the police station for interrogation.
Earlier in the morning, police killed three militant suspects including alleged Gulshan attack mastermind Tamim Chowdhury in a drive in the Paikpara building.
Tamim Chowdhury, a Bangladeshi Canadian, was earlier named as the mastermind of the Gulshan attack that killed 22, mostly foreigners, on 1 July.
