News Desk: The Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) has said that mobile phone service may be disrupted for two days. This may be due to new waveforms and changes.
The company has expressed its regret to the mobile subscribers. Last Monday, the director of the BTRC’s spectrum management department. This information was given in the notification signed by Sohail Rana.
It said, “Mobile services may be disrupted for 8 hours on the night of April 1 and 6 to ensure new wave service.”
It further said, ‘In the first phase, due to the 1800 MHz waveform, mobile phone service may be disrupted for 8 hours from 11pm on April 1 to 6am on April 2. The second step is for a new format of 2100 MHz waves April 7 from 11 p.m. mobile service may be disrupted till 8 am on April 7.
