Cricketer Mushfiqur Rahim has been named as United Nations Children’s Fund of UNICEF’s new national ambassador. The Bangladeshi cricketer will work to promote children’s rights throughout the country.
The organization’s Dhaka office confirmed the matter a press release on Sunday.
In a video message, Mushfiqur said that he felt honoured after becoming a part of the UNICEF family as the organization’s goodwill ambassador.
Earlier, national team cricketer Shakib Al Hasan and Mehedi Hasan Miraz worked as UNICEF’s national ambassador.
