Students blocked the road in front of Bar Council for an hour in protest against the death of a schoolgirl in a road mishap in city’s Matsya Bhaban area on Saturday morning.
Locals said at around 9:15am, a bus ran over Sadia Akter, student of class-IX of Rahima High School located in city’s Segunbagicha area.
She obtained GPA-5 in Junior School Certificate (JSC).
Immediately after the accident, angry students blocked the road halting traffic movement in Matsya Bhaban area.
On information, police rushed in and removed the road blockade around 10:30am. However, the blockade caused huge traffic congestion in the area
