{"id":7253,"date":"2017-05-29T10:01:02","date_gmt":"2017-05-29T10:01:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.banglanewsus.com\/english\/?p=7253"},"modified":"2017-05-29T10:01:02","modified_gmt":"2017-05-29T10:01:02","slug":"8-killed-in-us-shooting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.banglanewsus.com\/english\/2017\/05\/29\/8-killed-in-us-shooting\/","title":{"rendered":"8 killed in US shooting"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>At least eight people were killed in a pair of shootings in Lincoln County, Mississippi late Saturday night and early Sunday morning, including a law enforcement officer.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The incident began in Bogue Chitto, Mississippi Saturday night when police responded to a report that a man had refused to leave a property on Lee Drive.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The suspect, 35-year old Willie Cory Godbolt, opened fire when police approached him, killing six, including a sheriff\u2019s deputy.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>He then allegedly took a 16-year old hostage, MS News Now reports, before releasing the teen and proceeding to a residence on Coopertown Road.
