Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has increased salaries and match fees for the contractual cricketers.<\/p>\n

The proposal was passed in the first board meeting of the current year on Saturday.<\/p>\n

Bangladesh Cricket Board president Nazmul Hassan Papon made the disclosure on Saturday evening, after the board meeting was over.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
He said salaries were increased 1.5 times for the cricketers under A plus category and from one lakh to 25,000 for other categories respectively.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The A plus category cricketers- Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, Mushfiqur Rahim, Shakib Al-Hasan and Tamim Iqbal will now get Tk 4 lakh each. Earlier they were getting Tk 2.5 lakh.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Salaries for A category cricketers have been made Tk 3 lakh from Tk 2 lakh.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The B category cricketers will get Tk 2 lakh, increased Tk 50,000 from Tk 1.5 lakh.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The cricketers under C category will get Tk 1.5 lakh and D category Tk 1 lakh while they were getting Tk 1 lakh and Tk 75,000 respectively.<\/p>\n

Alongside, match fee for test cricket has been made Tk 3 lakh from Tk 2 lakh. The ODI match fee has been fixed Tk 2 lakh, making double. The T20 match fee was increased Tk 50,000. The T20 cricketers will now get Tk 125 lakh.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
