Of them, the last match was held yesterday, where head coach David Capel, trainer Corey Bocking along with selector-turned-team manager Athar Ali Khan were present to witness it.<br \/>\nDuring a gap of the match, Athar Ali Khan said that they have set their first target is to reach the Super Six stage of the World Cup Qualifier.<br \/>\n\u201cWe want to move forward through the tournament step by step,\u201d said Athar Ali Khan yesterday.<br \/>\n\u201cBut our primary target is to reach the Super Six stage of the World Cup Qualifier though the ultimate target is to go into the top four teams,\u201d Khan told media at the NCA ground yesterday.<br \/>\nWhile all qualifiers for the Super Sixes stage at the ICC Women\u2019s World Cup Qualifier 2017 will gain ODI status for the next four years, the top four will qualify for the ICC Women\u2019s World Cup 2017 in England and Wales from June 24 to July 23, as well as the next ICC Women\u2019s Championship.<br \/>\nAccepting the weakness of the team, the team manager said that they are focusing on improving the weakness as much as possible within the rest of the time. \u201cWe just take the charge of the team in August last year. The weakness the team has it is not possible to improve overnight. But we all are attempting to sort out the weakness and improve it gradually,\u201d the former national player said.<br \/>\n\u201cOur major concerns are batting and fielding. We need to be more consistent in batting to do fare well. With batting, we try to improve our fielding also. For this, we need some more times to work on these areas properly,\u201d he also said.<br \/>\n\u201cAfter the end of the Qualifier, we will get enough time. And then, we will work more comprehensively,\u201d he added.<br \/>\nAthar said that the plan we have formulated if we could execute it properly then the result will surely be well.<br \/>\n\u201cWe played a series against South Africa, where we had a positive result that we won a match against them. Just after the conclusion of the last ODI home series against South Africa, we have formulated our game plan,\u201d the selector said.<br \/>\nBangladesh pitted in the Group-B with South Africa, Pakistan, Scotland and Papua New Guinea. Group-A has been formed by India, Ireland, Zimbabwe, Thailand and the hosts Sri Lanka.<br \/>\nThe Tigress will start their qualifier mission with a practice match that will be played against Ireland at the Nondescripts Cricket Club Ground in Colombo on February 5.<br \/>\nBut they will begin their main journey with Papua New Guinea at the Colombo Cricket Club Ground (CCCG) on February 7.<br \/>\nThereafter, they will the face-off their Pakistan counterparts at the P Sara Oval Ground (PSOG) on February 8.<br \/>\nIn third match, they will compete against Scotland at the CCCG on February 10.<br \/>\nBangladeshi eves will play their fourth and last group phase match against South Africa at the PSOG on February 11.<br \/>\nTop three teams from each group will cruise to the Super Six, from where top two will progress to the final.
