International Desk: A guard has been killed in an armed attack on Azerbaijan\u2019s embassy in Iran\u2019s capital Tehran, the country\u2019s foreign ministry has said.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe attacker broke through the guard post, killing the head of security with a Kalashnikov assault rifle,\u201d it said.<\/p>\n
Friday\u2019s attack has also injured two people, the ministry added. An investigation has been launched.<\/p>\n
Video shared on social media showed what appeared to be broken glass and damage to a door inside the embassy building.<\/p>\n
Police in Tehran said they have arrested a suspect and are investigating the motive behind the attack.<\/p>\n
The suspect entered the embassy with two young children and may have been motivated by \u201cpersonal issues\u201d, Iran\u2019s semi-official Tasnim news agency reported, citing the police chief.<\/p>\n
