Desk news: BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has alleged that the government started hatching a new conspiracy centering the next general election.<\/p>\n
He said, “There will be no sign of Awami League if the election is held under the caretaker government. So, Sheikh Hasina-led government started hatching a new conspiracy.”<\/p>\n
Mirza Fakhrul said this at the party’s divisional mass rally at the Sonali Bank premises at Khulna city’s Dak Bungalow intersection on Saturday afternoon.<\/p>\n
Alleging that Sheikh Hasina wants to stay in power depriving people of their vote, he said no election can be held under her.<\/p>\n
He also said, “No election will be held in this country without the caretaker government, and the Hasina-led government must step down.”<\/p>\n
Demanding the withdrawal of the cases filed against BNP leaders and activists and the release of the arrested ones, he said, “Otherwise, I am straightly saying, you (the government) won’t find an escape route.”<\/p>\n
The rally was held in Khulna today as part of BNP’s mass rally at divisional cities seeking the party chief Khaleda Zia’s unconditional release, election-time non-party impartial government, and protesting fuel prices hike, deaths of leaders and activists by police, attack and false cases against them.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
