Hopefully this problem will be solved soon.<\/p>\n<p>The Bangladesh Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (BTRC) said users could not use the two apps due to \u201ctechnical glitches\u201d. However, they also claimed that the control commission did not close the two apps.<\/p>\n<p>BTRC vice chairman Subrata Roy Maitra said they were working to resolve the issue.<\/p>\n<p>Asked whether steps had been taken to curb the spread of false and misleading information during Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi\u2019s visit, he said, \u201cIt is not so much because of technical glitches.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Although the Downdetector website does not have information about Facebook or Messenger being down anywhere in the world today.
