New football power house Saif Sporting Club showed their intentions to put up a strong challenge in the local football arena as they brought British coach Stewart Hall to prepare their youthful side for next season’s Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).<\/p>\n

The much awaited BPL is supposed to get commence after September’s SAFF Championship, reports BSS.<\/p>\n

The 59-year-old coach, who has experience of working in India and different academies of Africa and Europe, was introduced before the media at the club’s head office in Mohakhali yesterday.<\/p>\n

Hall was offered one-year contract from Tuesday. We have formed a youthful side for the next season and there is a lot of work to be done which the coach will do,” said the club’s managing director Nasiruddin Chowdhury.<\/p>\n

“I have built Pune FC and took them to the I-League. I have also worked with a lightweight club of Tanzania and helped them win a trophy, said Hall.<\/p>\n
