News Desk: Pfizer is going to start experimenting with corona vaccine on children under 12 years of age.

A small dose of the vaccine will be used on children.

At this stage of the study, more than 90 clinics in Finland, Poland, Spain and the United States will experimentally vaccinate 4,500 children.

In the first phase of the test, two doses of the vaccine were administered to 144 children. Based on the results of the vaccine’s safety, tolerance and resistance, Pfizer said it would administer a dose of 10 micrograms to 5- to 11-year-olds and three micrograms to children aged six months to five years.

A Pfizer spokesman said on Tuesday that “they expect to know the results of the vaccination of children between the ages of five and 11 by September and will then apply to regulatory agencies for urgent approval of the vaccine for children.”

He added, “Vaccination results for children aged six months to two years will be available in October or November” .
