A girl in yellow sari, yellow flowers on her head and hands, a garland of flowers around the neck, went viral on internet as she posed with a bat in wedding dress in a cricket ground.
The girl is none but Sanjida Islam, a top order batter of national women cricket team of Bangladesh. She on Saturday got tied the knot with Mim Mossadeak, 24, a Rangpur divisional cricketer.
At the very beginning of the new innings of life, Sanjida went to a local cricket ground with helmet-gloves-pads and a bat on Friday.
Sanjida has been representing Bangladesh in international cricket since 2012. She played 54 T20s and 16 ODIs. She found Mim as the award for her love in cricket. The two met in 2014 at Rangpur Cricket Academy and introduced each other. After six years of love affairs, they finally tied the knot.
